2. OAuth 2.0 Permissions and Graduated Access Permissions

In order to use our document-production and analysis services, end users must authenticate via the secure Google OAuth 2.0 consent screen. The application requests only narrowly scoped and carefully limited (Least-Privilege) permissions:

  • gmail.readonly: Granted solely for the purpose of reading email messages and correspondence threads requested by the user during active document-production processes.
  • userinfo.profile: Used solely to retrieve the user's profile image for system identification and display in the user interface.
  • userinfo.email: Used to retrieve the user's primary email address for secure linking and account verification.

3. Data Handling, Security and Protocols to Prevent Exposure

  • Zero exposure of credentials: LegalPDF / CORRbuilder does not receive access to, store or handle raw Google account passwords or the user's primary authentication details.
  • Data-in-transit security: All data retrieved via Google API interfaces are encrypted in transit using the industry standard HTTPS with TLS enforcement.
  • Strict limitation on third parties: We do not sell, trade, transfer or disclose any information obtained from Google API interfaces to any unauthorised third party. The information is processed temporarily solely for the purpose of supplying the requested legal PDF documentation.
