Terms of Use
Terms of Use of Sitehood Internet communication LTD (operator of LEGALPDF.CO)
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of LEGALPDF.CO (the "Platform"), operated by Sitehood Internet communication LTD ("we", "us", "our", "the Company"). The Platform extracts email and WhatsApp correspondence into organised documents for legal work and may include optional AI analysis. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
Terms of use for lawyers (Account holders)
1. Acceptance
1.1 By opening or using a Lawyer Account on the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use for lawyers (Account holders). If you do not agree, do not create or use a Lawyer Account.
1.2 Only lawyers (or authorised staff acting for a law firm under a lawyer's account email) may hold Lawyer Accounts. End clients use the Platform under Part B after receiving an invitation from a Lawyer.
2. Lawyer accounts
2.1 A Lawyer Account is created and accessed via Google or Microsoft sign-in. An account may be opened by our sales representative using your email address, or by you after sign-in by entering a purchased voucher secret code.
2.2 At account creation we may know only your email address until you complete payment and/or voucher activation. After activation, your dashboard shows account and voucher details (including totals used, sent, and remaining).
2.3 A Lawyer Account is tied to a single email address. Anyone with access credentials to that mailbox may be able to sign in to the same account, including simultaneously.
3. Vouchers & payment
3.1 Use of the Platform by Lawyers is paid. Payment is made by purchasing a voucher (scratch package) that allows a defined number of client invitations / document-generation events.
3.2 Vouchers are typically sold through our sales representatives. Payment is processed via Airwallex. After payment you receive an invoice/receipt by email. Card details are handled by the payment provider.
3.3 When invitations are exhausted, you cannot send further invitations until you purchase another voucher through the authorised sales channel. There is no other self-service purchase path unless we expressly provide one.
3.4 End clients are not charged by us and are not shown voucher pricing. Fees are solely between the Company and the Lawyer.
4. Client invitations
4.1 An invitation is an email you send to a client offering use of the Platform to generate one Document (email correspondence or WhatsApp correspondence — one Document per invitation / platform choice).
4.2 The invitation email address must be the same address the client will use to sign in and extract correspondence. You may send more than one invitation to the same client over time, subject to remaining invitations.
4.3 When a client uses an invitation and generates a Document, your available invitation count decreases. Unused invitations have no expiry while the Lawyer Account remains active, subject to inactivity rules below.
4.4 Your dashboard lists invitations sent and their status (for example waiting or used). You are responsible for inviting only clients you are authorised to serve and for lawful use of their data.
5. Account security
5.1 Lawyer Accounts are private and protected using industry measures including SSL/HTTPS. Sign-in uses Google or Microsoft authentication; we do not store your provider passwords.
5.2 You must keep control of the email account used for sign-in and notify us promptly of unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your Lawyer Account.
5.3 The Platform undergoes an annual security review by TAC Security. No system is perfectly secure.
6. Acceptable use
6.1 You may use the Platform only for lawful professional purposes related to legal document preparation from correspondence you and your clients are entitled to process.
6.2 You must not misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, or use invitations or Documents in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
7. Disclaimers
7.1 Documents are generated from correspondence retrieved or uploaded under client authorisation. We are not legally responsible for the substance of emails or WhatsApp chats, nor for conclusions drawn from optional AI reports.
7.2 The Platform and Documents are provided as a technical service. They do not constitute legal advice from the Company. You remain responsible for professional judgment and advice to your clients.
7.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Platform, except where liability cannot be excluded.
8. Suspension & inactivity
8.1 We may suspend or terminate a Lawyer Account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud, or security risk.
8.2 If a Lawyer Account has no activity for 24 months, we may block the account even if unused invitations remain.
Terms of use for Users
1. Acceptance
1.1 By accepting a Lawyer invitation and using the Platform (including the LegalPDF mobile app), you agree to these Terms of Use for Users. If you do not agree, do not use the invitation or the app.
1.2 "User" / "Client" means an individual invited by a Lawyer to generate a Document from email or WhatsApp correspondence.
2. Access by invitation
2.1 You access the service only after receiving an invitation email from your Lawyer. You must sign in with the same email address named in the invitation (Google or Microsoft).
2.2 You do not open a Lawyer Account and you do not pay us for vouchers. Your Lawyer manages invitations and payment under Part A.
2.3 Document generation for clients is available through our mobile application (PWA) on supported Android and iOS devices (generally current OS versions and up to two major versions back).
3. Mobile app & document generation
3.1 After installing the app and signing in, you choose email-to-Document or WhatsApp-to-Document and submit the required form.
3.2 For email Documents you provide your email and the correspondent's email, and may set a date range, keywords, display order, and an optional AI prompt (subject to length limits, e.g. up to 150 words). The Platform then accesses your authorised mailbox via Google or Microsoft APIs to retrieve matching correspondence.
3.3 For WhatsApp Documents you choose a single-contact or group chat, provide phone number and WhatsApp display name as requested, and may set date range, keywords, and AI prompt. You must manually export the chat and upload the export into the app (direct into the app on Android; local save then upload on iPhone). We do not log into your WhatsApp account.
3.4 Retrieved or uploaded content is processed on our servers to build the Document. You confirm you are authorised to process and submit that correspondence.
4. AI analysis
4.1 If you request an AI report, correspondence content and your prompt may be sent to OpenAI's API for analysis. The response is embedded as an AI report in the Document.
4.2 AI output is automated and may be incomplete or inaccurate. It is not legal advice. You and your Lawyer must review Documents before relying on them.
5. Documents, download & deletion
5.1 When a Document is ready, you may download it to your device and receive a unique share link to send to your Lawyer or another recipient.
5.2 Documents are stored on our servers for a maximum of 24 hours and are then permanently deleted automatically. You may also delete a Document manually before that time.
5.3 After you download a Document, further use, storage, or sharing of that copy is your responsibility. Temporary server copies remain subject to our Privacy Policy commitments.
6. User responsibilities
6.1 You must use the Platform only for lawful purposes and only with correspondence you are entitled to access and process.
6.2 You must not attempt to circumvent security, use another person's invitation without authorisation, or upload unlawful or infringing content.
6.3 You acknowledge that during the short temporary storage period, company staff may have technical access to files for system operation, and that we commit not to use, sell, trade, or read Document contents except as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
7.1 We are not legally responsible for the content of emails or WhatsApp chats you extract, or for how you or third parties use a downloaded Document.
7.2 The Platform is provided as a technical service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, except where liability cannot be excluded.
